October is stamp collecting month in Canada, and Canada Post is issuing a set of domestic rate stamps featuring air creatures at risk of extinction.
The 2008 series includes the Taylor's checkerspot, the roseate tern, the burrowing owl and the prothonotary warbler. This is the final set of stamps in the series, which have brought attention to creatures at risk of extinction.
